PMN Fam Pics Series 2 : Potted
Potted....the theme for this month's family picture submission really had me stumped. Instinctively, the first thing that came to mind was a plant in a pot. But I'm not a big plant person so I figured that would be too fake of me to submit that.
So I thought, potty. Great, I could submit photos of my kids while they were in the potty. I looked through our albums and I came up with nothing. In hindsight, how bad of me not to have taken any photos of my kids doing their potty training. Even for posterity's sake. Tsk, tsk.
Then it hit me, I think my Mom had some photos stashed of me and my siblings doing the potty. Fantastic!! So, armed with my dust mask, off I went to my Moms "bodega" to search for the elusive "potted" picture.
Lo and behold, I came up with not 1 but 4 wonderful pictures of an era long gone.

Come to think of it, I don't think I have photos taken during my potty training days but I was able to take some of my son during his time.

Hi Cookie! From the pictures, it seemed there was no need for potty training. Mukang at home na at home ka naman sa 'trono'. Haha! I like the picture with your dad, nice expressions on your faces.

Hi Wenchie!! I was not only a daddy's girl, I was a Lolo's girl too. It pays to be the first born daughter and the first born apo. Kaya ayan, pati pag-potty ko nakabantay sila :)

Hi Ana!! Nagtra-training na ba si Louna? Give her a good book and you'll find that she will enjoy her training more. I can speak from experience. Eto nga, hanggang ngayon dala-dala ko pa yan sa pagtanda. Hindi nga lang storybook ang binabasa ko ngayon :)

Hi Senor!! My mother was the original shutterbug in the family. Of course, hers was the unbeatable Kodak Instamatic with the flash that looked like an ice-cube :)
