The W-Factor

I got tagged for this meme by Mitch, the Silent One.

I did a similar tag a month or so ago but this is a bit more brain-frying. I have to come up with 15 weird traits. So I will just add on to the 6 I listed earlier.


1. I love vinegar on everything. I put it on spam, corned beef, adobo, egg, rice, and suha.

2. I don't throw away soap chips, no matter how small. I have a huge soapball (like those candle balls in the cemetery) that gets bigger and bigger as I add more soap chips. My husband thinks its gross.

3. I can only eat bananas if they are shmeared with peanut butter. I can't eat them as-is. Like Elvis Presley.

4. I nap at 9p.m. Well, I nap at 9, wake up at 11, then sleep at heaven knows what time. It's not actually a "nap". In between blinks, while watching TV, my eyes get stuck and they don't open till 2 hours later.

5. I have an imaginary remote control. I sleep with the rc in my hands. Sometimes I wake up and start punching the rc even if I don't have it anymore.

6. I love That's Entertainment and Walang Tulugan (Kuya Germs). I won't expound anymore..I just love them.

7. When I start reading a book, I will read the final chapter first just to take away some of the suspense. I get anxiety attacks when reading so I just take care of it that way.

8. I multi-task when driving. I can drive, fix my hair, put a cd, and reprimand my kids. All at the same time. This can also fall under the "Bad Driving" category.

9. I used to have childhood crushes on Jack Lord (Hawaii 5-0), Elvis, and Mighty Thor. Among the locals it was Eddie Gutierrez and Dondon Nakar.

10. I can remember the most inane details from the most inane tagalog movies. Example : a)Why did Ike Lozada die in Supergirl? Answer : He was killed by the zombies because he refused to let go of his tsinelas. b) Sino si Supergirl? Answer : Pinky Montilla c) Sino bf niya? Answer : Walter Navarro

11. I once asked my Lolo if dinosaurs were real. He said that they were and that they lived in Burgos, Ilocos Norte. I actually believed him and asked if he could get me one.

12. I used to think my grandpa was pals with Bernardo Carpio. They used to drink together before he got holed up between those 2 damn mountain ranges.

13. I once had a payabangan bout with a grade-school classmate and told him that I had a vacation house made of eraser and I had pets in superhero costumes. Needless to say, that got him stumped.

14. I used to have really short hair and would gel it up in spikes. My aunts used to curse me for it and prayed that a butiki would not fall on my head because the spikes would surely kill it.

15. I used to look like a boy. A guapo one at that. My sisters classmates, in fact, were head over heels in love with me and looked forward to my coming to their school to pick my sisters up. And I was routinely called "Pogi" by vendors, jeepney drivers, and konduktoras.
