The Cookie that Will not Crumble

Hello. My name is Cookie. And as my name often implies, I am as deliciously cute as those yummy treats from Mrs. Fields. Now, before any of you starts hitting the X on the page-marker, I'd like to get a little bit more serious and get on with this tag.

Once again..my name is Cookie and I'm a wife and mother. And that <---- is my family.

My real name is Pauline and I was named after the great general Gen. Paulino Santos, whose birthday I share and who also happens to be my great-grandfather twice or thrice removed.

The name Cookie came from my father. He had an old Buick named Cookie and the poor car just died on him before I was born. So in honor of his beloved vehicle, he passed the name on to me.

So now I have the distinct honor of being named after a revered person in Philippine history and a revered car in automobile history.

I am married to a wonderful man who is my bestfriend and my soulmate. We were together for 7 years before getting hitched. Together, we have 2 adorable little angels who we fondly call our Hezbollahs or sometimes The Kutos (sarap tirisin).

My husband and my angels are what makes my world turn.

I'd like to think that I am a study in contrasts. I can be a great friend but I can be a horrible enemy. I can be very industrious but I can also just zone out when I feel like it. I can be fanatic but I can also be nonchalant. I can be completely sane then become insane at will. I can be very humble but when needed, I can bring it on.

So who am I? My name is Cookie and I will not crumble. Not while I'm alive.
