Being on the last few days of summer, I've been listening to songs that help me keep that "sun and sand" feeling even as the days are beginning to turn gloomy.
And so to the last vestiges of summer..here goes ...
1. Waiting in Vain - by Bob Marley (listening to this makes you feel like you're drinking a papaya shake while lying on the beach)
2. Every Breath You Take - by UB40 from the soundtrack of "50 First Dates" (aaahh...I'm getting a tan)
3. No Woman No Cry - cover by The Fugees (a summer concert under a cloudless evening sky)
4. Tomorrow People - by Ziggy Marley (perfect while riding a paraw)
5. I've Got You Babe - by Chrissy Hynde and UB40 (great to listen to while having breakfast on the terrace of your resort room...with your "babe")
6. I'll Tumble For Ya - by Culture Club (perfect beach tune while scouring the local market for souvenirs)
7. The Tide is High - by Blondie (song to listen to while riding the banca that'll take you back to the Caticlan airport)

Good Morning SexyMom..well uhmm...these are reggae songs..imagine dreadlocks and red/yellow/green bonnets. Not very popular, really, except if you like bumming on the beach. Like me..if I had the time..and the moolah :)

Lady Cess, I forgot..a paraw is a sailboat. It's lokal lang not those expensive ones na galing abroad. You see it a lot in Bora :)
I like UB40 and I used to listen to Culture Club. New wave is one of my favorite type of music.
